Catapult One review: elite-sport pedigree, priced as a yearly membership
Catapult supplies GPS systems to professional teams, and Catapult One is its consumer version. It is sold as a membership, so the yearly renewal is the number to compare, not the starting price.
Don't buy Catapult One if…
You want to pay once and own it (STATSports Academy has no subscription), or you are choosing mainly because professional clubs use Catapult. The consumer package is a different product.
Worth a look for older, committed players who want a coach dashboard and will renew every year.
Over three seasons it is the most expensive of the GPS vests we cover, so it needs to earn its place through the app and training content.
What Catapult One offers
Membership activates a 10Hz GPS tracker and vest, with sprint distance, acceleration and intensity metrics in the app, plus training content. Coaches can view players through a web dashboard, which suits a small group training together.
The membership is the product
Catapult says an active membership is required to record sessions, sync data and access the dashboard. If the membership lapses, the tracker stops being useful for new sessions, so treat it as a yearly cost from day one.
True Cost over three seasons
UK prices checked 31 October 2026. Catapult's US store lists the renewal at US$179.99 a year; the UK renewal shown here is the £159.99 product listed on the UK store.
Who should buy it?
Catapult One is sold direct by Catapult. Check the vest size, the renewal date and whether the price shown includes the first 12 months.
